Bible Reading Plan 11/30 to 12/6

Path 1: New Testament and Psalms

In Psalms 34–36, David praises the Lord for deliverance, urges the righteous to taste and see God’s goodness, and contrasts the love of the Lord with the corruption of the wicked. God’s steadfast love reaches to the heavens, giving refuge, light, and sure protection to all who trust in Him.

Public Praise and Righteous Witness: David frames gratitude as a public confession of God’s saving power. Praise is not merely private devotion, but a form of testimony that strengthens the faithful and confronts the wicked. When households and churches bless the Lord openly, they shape culture through visible allegiance to His goodness.

Path 2: Old Testament Pentateuch/History

In Numbers 1–2, the Lord orders Israel for life in the wilderness by numbering the tribes and arranging them around the tabernacle. The census emphasizes readiness for battle and covenant responsibility. The camp’s formation places God’s dwelling at the center, declaring that Israel’s strength, protection, and identity flow from His holy presence among them.

God at the Center of Community: Israel’s ordered camp teaches that God is not one concern among many but the organizing center of all life. Worship defines social structure, military readiness, and daily movement. When God remains central, families, churches, and nations gain clarity of purpose, shared direction, and durable unity under His rule.

Path 3: Old Testament Wisdom/Prophecy

In Ecclesiastes 9–10, Solomon reflects on life’s unpredictability, the certainty of death, and the contrast between wisdom and folly. Though outcomes often appear unjust, wisdom still excels in guiding life. Small acts of folly can bring great ruin, while quiet wisdom preserves order and restrains destruction within communities.
